This year’s
Karger Workshop, made possible by the continuing support of S. Karger
AG, was
organized by R. Glenn Northcutt and Mario Wullimann in belated honor of
Rudolf
Nieuwenhuys’ 80th birthday, and in
recognition of his tremendous contributions
to the field of comparative neurobiology.
The Workshop, ‘Forebrain Evolution in Fishes’, will take place on
Thursday and features six speakers who will review various
aspects of
forebrain organization in different groups of fishes. Additional
information and
the final schedule of talks will be emailed to JBJC members (and to
anyone else
on request) before the meeting. Please
contact Blinda McClelland (mcclelland@mail.utexas.edu) to be placed on
the
mailing list.
